Jamescarter_picMy name is James Carter I attended Broadcasting School in 1973 in New York City. I was told by a program director at a large market radio station in New York than when you start working at a small market radio station you will have the opportunity to do many different things in broadcasting.

During the summer of 1974 relocated to South Carolina and obtained announcing job at Radio Station WBHC in Hampton, South Carolina. In 1975, I transitioned to another small market station, WBAW- FM and AM. While working at WBAW, I did news, sports, weather, music programs, and some sales. In 1983 I was appointed gospel director at WBA W- FM, Barnwell, South Carolina. In 1996 I became gospel program director at WIIZ-FM, Barnwell, South Carolina a new 50,000 watt FM station. This is the position I currently hold.

I have been actively involved in radio broadcasting for thirty-three years.
